Your website is the digital home of your business. Just as a home needs furniture, a website needs content such as text, images, videos, etc. This content has to be prepared, gathered, and submitted to the Web Designer so that they can upload it to your website.
Logo
A Website’s logo is essentially your business’s digital brand. When you set up a new business you need a logo to achieve brand awareness. A logo can be printed on posters, cards, and advertising brochures. It can also be designed digitally when we want to promote our business on social networks with ads that link to our website.
The logo helps the audience quickly identify you and differentiate you from your competitors. That is why it is very important to create a proper logo with shapes, colors, and style that suits your business. The logo is designed by our Graphic Designer partner.
Web page Texts
A website is a collection of web pages. Each page contains text that informs visitors about your services. If the website is displayed in more than one language, then these texts should be translated. The texts are prepared/translated either by the client or by a professional copywriter/translator.
The following texts should be prepared and delivered to the Web Designer to be placed on the corresponding pages of the website or Eshop.
- Homepage texts
- About us page texts
- Services texts
- Contact page texts
- Advertising Texts (social media offers)
- Blog Posts
Web page Images
Most of your website pages will need to include attractive images. In general, images can be used decoratively to accompany a webpage’s texts, but they can also be used to convey your message to your customer on a much deeper level. A user that looks at a great image, receives more information about the business in less time, compared to texts. Great images generate sales!
The client supplies the Web Designer with images they wish to display on their website. Photos should be of high resolution (at least full High Definition 1920 X 1080) so that the Web Designer can edit them properly before they upload them to your website.
If there are no photos available then image banks can be searched to acquire the relevant photos for a fee that will give a beautiful aesthetic effect to the website. The photos accompany the texts of the website as well as the texts of the articles displayed on it.
If the photos need graphic editing, then they should be edited by a Graphic Designer in consultation with the Web Designer.
Multimedia
What applies to images also applies to video or other multimedia. Compared to images, a video can convey even more information about your business to your website visitors. Instead of browsing multiple photos, a user can watch a video and find out about your business in a single click.
Ideally, the video should be uploaded to YouTube. This reduces the Websites file size and Web hosting costs since we do not need to upload the video to the Hosting Provider’s server.
Legal Documents (GPDR)
If you collect personal data from your website visitors located in the EU, you need to comply with GPDR legal requirements. These texts are prepared by our legal partner. They inform the users about the Website’s Privacy Policy and its terms of use.
Customer Information Emails
When a user interacts with your website, many times they will need to receive feedback, such as an email that confirms their newsletter subscription, or that they created their account successfully.
The Web Designer works with the client, to set up those informational emails, so they can provide the best user experience.
Translated texts
If the content of the website will be displayed in multiple languages, then all texts (and informational emails to customers) will need to be translated, before the Web Designer uploads them on the website. If we display videos with subtitles on our website, they should be translated as well.
