The construction of an Eshop includes the preparation of the material, the technical actions, and the introduction of the products.

In the following text, we briefly explain the actions that the Web Designer implements in order to design the online store for his client. Although these actions are technical, several times they require consultation with the client, so that it becomes clear to the Web Designer what he will build and how.

1. Domain Name Registration
The customer should choose a name for his website (ex.  “myeshop.com”) and ask the Web Designer to register it on his behalf.

2. Annual Hosting Contract
For a website to work it should be hosted in a Datacenter that is reliable, secure, and able to meet its requirements.

3. Annual Maintenance Contract
The annual maintenance contract includes all technical actions to be implemented by the Web Designer to update the website, correct technical errors and secure it against malicious attacks.

4. Corporate Emails
When the website is hosted in a Datacenter, then the Web Designer can also create email addresses that will end in the form “@myeshop.com”.

5. Payment methods
The customer must decide whether the store will be connected with a bank Merchant Account or alternatively with systems such as Viva or “My Pos”. Then the Web Designer, in consultation with the customer, installs the corresponding payment methods such as Bank Transfer, Cash on Delivery, Paypal, etc.

6. Shipping Methods
The Web Designer, in consultation with the customer, determines the shipping methods of the products (Pick up from the store, shipping by courier, etc.)

7. Adding extra features
The Web Designer conducts market research to install and configure additional applications from the Woo Commerce App Store, depending on the needs of the store set by the customer. For more information read the related article “adding apps to your Eshop”

8. Eshop Web Pages.
The Web Designer as the architect of the project, designs the framework for each page. It determines the way of presentation and the layout of the information so that the visitor can see the messages we want to convey to him in the way we wish. Once he has completed the design, he enters the corresponding content ( 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d ) for each page in the layout he has chosen.

Each page is made in 4 mockups – i.e. in 4 variations: desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles. Each page is researched and tested for the colors, fonts, icons and photos we will use on it. The main pages built in a store are the following:

Home
About us
Product Category Page
Product Page
Order page
Checkout Page – Shopping Cart
Wish List of Products
Contact page
etc.

9. Eshop Content
Once the design of the pages is complete, then we enter the content corresponding to them. We repeat the process for each additional language of the Eshop.

10. Import of Products.
Once the store construction is complete, then we are ready to import the products into the system. We repeat the process for each additional language of the Eshop.
