In this post, we explain the necessary steps to build a website. Although these actions are technical, several times the customer has to get involved, so that the Web Designer understands what to build and how.
1. Domain Name Registration
The customer should choose a name for his website (eg “www.mywebsitename.com”) and ask the Web Designer to rent it on his behalf.
2. Annual Hosting Contract
A website is a collection of files stored in a reliable Datacenter.
3. Annual Maintenance Contract
This includes all technical actions that need to be implemented by the Web Designer so that the website’s software stays updated and secure.
4. Corporate Emails
Once a domain name is registered and When the website is hosted in a Datacenter, the Web Designer can create domain=related email addresses ( myemail@mywebsitename.com” ).
5. Website Content
To build a website, The Web Designer must have the necessary digital files at his disposal such as texts, images, files, etc. The Website content should be prepared and delivered to the Web Designer so they can upload it to the system. 6. Webpage Mockups
The Web Designer is the architect who designs the page mockups for your website. The mockups determine the website’s information layout so that the visitor can identify the most valuable content first. Once the mockups are created, the Web Designer uploads the corresponding content to each webpage.
For each webpage, 4 mockups will be created: for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. On every webpage, the Web Designer will experiment with colors, fonts, icons, and photos.
7. Basic Features
A website built with WordPress software already has the ability to perform certain functions. Some of them are the following:
- article creation
- commenting on articles
- creating new users
- creating pages with basic/simple tools.

8. Additional Features
You can install additional apps (plugins) in your WordPress Website to perform additional tasks – just like you do with mobile phones. 9. SEO
Every internet user uses a search engine, such as Google or Bing, to find information. Once the user performs a query, search engines display several results. Therefore it is important for your website to appear in these results, in the highest possible position.
For this reason, a set of technical actions must be implemented on all web pages of your website, so that they are displayed as high as possible in the search engines and are attractive to the user.
